Gelatinized Imperial Gold Maca™ capsules exactly match the maca specifications used at the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia which used in the only professionally recognized human clinical trials of maca ever conducted: 500mg gelatinized pure maca root per capsule Phase I clinical trials lasting nine months and were completed in August 2001. The findings made headline news worldwide: A Copy Of These Trials Are Available at the bottom of this page. Gelatinized Imperial Gold Maca™ now contains 600mg. in a 100% vegetable capsule bottle for greater strength.
Gelatinized Imperial
Gold Maca™ does not mean gelatin
capsules or mixed with gelatin. It refers to the process the Maca
undergoes, a similar process to the purification of gelatin. The process
removes starches and breaks down the bonds that bind the starch
molecules to the amino acids and other compounds locked within. Gelatinized
Imperial Gold Maca™ is produced
at the National University of Agriculture, La Molina, Peru and is
recognized as the main source of Gelatinized Maca. The university is an
agricultural teaching college with students from all over the world
including South America.
There are company's advertising on the
internet that are selling so called gelatinized Maca that the National
University of Agriculture has never heard of and will issue an official
statement shortly in writing which we will post here. University
Statement Maca is very popular and
marketers have found an opportunity to make money from you. So be
sure the label says that it is produced at the National University of
Agriculture at La Molina, Peru, AND OR FOLLOWS THE PROTOCOL this way you will know you are
getting the real thing! Maca powder is irradiated by many growers
to rectify the unsanitary production at the Peruvian Institute of Nuclear
Energy (IPEN). In this case,
even though it’s still not proven that irradiation can or cannot cause
cancer or other alterations, some markets such as the Japanese have
restricted the entrance of irradiated Maca into there country, so be very
carefully when buying from companies who do not have qualified proof that
the product is totally natural. When
you order ask for a copy of supporting documentation on official
University stationery to assure that you bought the real thing and that it
hasn't been radiated and roasted in order to resemble gelatinized
Maca. |
